it has a kind of ominous feel thought with the reds a foreboding if you will,
of the whales fate perhaps
not sure if that was your intention
it has the beauty of them along with the face
which is a positive for them I think
to me a duality but over all beautiful
the colours play off each other well
Gaia as in earth mother god [link]
or hypothesis [link] perhaps both, seem to work for me
On retrospect, the title "Gaia" was perhaps not chosen particularly well, but this is an old piece of art, and I refuse to re-name it now.
I was going through a phase at that time, of researching Goddesses and dabbling in the inner cognitive realm. Getting in touch with my subconscious. Influenced by the metaphysical artist Susan Seddon Boulet and her paintings on shamans. I don't think I will ever be over that phase, it is still an interest.
But thank you for your interpretation of my piece, it is interesting.

well I guess with that dear thats pretty much all of us..when life stops for a minute we look inside and ask why
some people seem to find answers that best suits their thoughts other remain questioning ..I think life is a learning cure
each day we evolve our thoughts and perceptions and even when we are dieing we will learn what it is to die
so we are constantly learning & evolving
I do think for a lot of reasons there is more to us too then just here and now and party time for the worms
I think we do have something more, a soul if you will and I think we do visit realms beyond us in our dreams
I think we do connect in ways we dont know in a
subconscious way, more and more I am finding this
we actually are far more connected then we think
a kind of world conciseness does exist I think
the net I dont know for better or worse but it is changing the way we think and maybe its just a conscious reality of the subconscious connects we might have and share? anyway the net is defiantly impacting all of us in many many ways and how we process & get information with it is changing for us..again not sure if thats good or bad when it come to learning but its definitely happening...
